A Public Campus at Monumental Scale
Built in Ankara through TOKİ, the new campus of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is one of Türkiye’s largest public construction projects, with roughly 548,000 m² of land and 334,500 m² of enclosed area. A protocol block, office buildings and a conference centre are designed to serve thousands of people each day.
Wide horizontal office masses, a monumental protocol block and large open landscape and ceremonial areas call for a comprehensive wind assessment — façade wind pressure, suction loads on broad roofs and pedestrian wind comfort across the open spaces.
