Türkiye’s New Joint Headquarters
The Ay Yıldız Project is a joint military headquarters campus built by Rönesans İnşaat for the Ministry of National Defence in Ankara, laid out in the aerial form of a crescent and star. With roughly 890,000 m² of enclosed area, the complex ranks among Türkiye’s largest public construction projects.
The star-shaped main campus houses the force commands, with the ministry and headquarters buildings at its centre; together with a large ceremonial ground and support facilities, it is conceived as an integrated campus.
