A High Hotel Façade in the Urban Fabric
For the 22-storey, 240-room hotel project developed by Edesay Real Estate in Şişli / Bomonti, Istanbul, Alkazar carried out the façade wind-load calculations.
Rising on a narrow plot within a dense urban fabric, the building raises sheltering, corner-acceleration and downwash effects from neighbouring structures. This urban-canyon setting requires the façade pressure distribution to be resolved with care.
