Combining a high-density mall with multi-storey towers calls for emergency evacuation scenarios and elevator (vertical-circulation) traffic to be optimised through advanced simulation. The study delivers an integrated safety and comfort assessment, from peak-hour pedestrian flow to emergency egress times.
